Students on the bus on their way to Disney!

In 24 hours a lot can happen, 365,000 babies are born, 378,000 iPhones are sold, and 2,160,000 pairs of Nike shoes are sold. In an entire day, one can walk around the entire island of Manhattan, read through any of Shakespeare’s 37 plays, watch all of the star war movies and basically accomplish anything, yet the Cresskill band and chorus were all stuck on a bus on their way to Disney. Although Disney is great and all, nothing in this world could be worth a gruesome and horrific 24-hour bus ride to Florida. Sitting in a confined space for more 20 hours is undeniably insane especially when it is smelly, crowded and loud. A bus filled with over 50 people with no Wi-Fi or outlets is probably anyone’s worst fear, especially mine. So much could go wrong on a bus, from all the traffic to a possible flat tire, the risks are endless. Now, the question comes to be; how did they survive?

Other than the bus being absolutely gross, sleeping on the bus is an entirely different playing field. Trying to find that comfy spot is truly unimaginable. There is nothing in this world that could ever be better than going into the comfort of one’s bed. No matter how many blankets, pillows, or sleeping masks one brings, the sleep will end up being restless and unenjoyable. The people on the Disney trip were courageous individuals.

An important message to those who went on the trip: You all deserve an award for your accomplishment. Not all people could make it through an entire bus ride to Florida. You are all brave souls.
