Halloweekend ended, but the holiday is still here as we return to school. Going out is out of the question on a school night, so what better way to enjoy the day than watching movies? Whether you want background noise while doing homework or have time to engage completely, consider gathering your decorations and tuning into these legendary films. From shocking slashers to lighthearted fall classics, this list will give you options perfect for getting into the spirit of Halloween!

“Pearl” - Ti west’s 2022 release for this year’s Halloween is a psychological horror that explores the extreme lows of solid ambition. The film "Pearl" highlights the horrifying nature of actors who feed the destructive desire to be seen at all costs. Pearl is stranded on a remote farm where she must care for her sick father while her mother keeps eyeing her. Pearl's temptations and repressions collide as she yearns for the glittering life she has ever seen in movies. The movie is a prequel to the recent release “X,” another incredible horror motion in which young actors find themselves under the noses of their reclusive hosts. A group of actors set out to film a movie in rural Texas, but when the elderly couple catches their youthful guests in the act, the cast is forced to battle for their lives. Altogether, the two movies bring light to a real problem and are approved by me for their “Halloweeny” vibe.
