2016 Bergen County Band Invitational

Cresskill High School Marching Band achieved its highest score of 80.45 in the 2016 Bergen Country Band Invitational. Cresskill’s show this year is titled “Earth, Wind Chicago”, featuring the songs “In the Stone” by Maurice White, David Foster and Allee Willis, “Hard to Say I’m Sorry/ Get Away” arranged by Paul Murtha and “Make Me Smile” by James Pankow.

Bergenfield High School hosts 12 marching bands, which compete schools of the same size. Usually this event takes place on the Bergenfield High School football field, but due to inclement weather, the bands performed in the Bergenfield High School gymnasium. Each band is scored on the music individually, as a whole band, percussion and overall performance.

The Cresskill High School Marching Band will be playing at all varsity football games, as well as at Montclair State University in the North Jersey Band Festival on October 30, 2016.
