The Park Ridge Owls paid the Cougars a visit on Friday, October 28, 2016. The first quarter was a good one for both teams when it came down to scoring. Senior Thomas Garzino scored off of a 77-yard pass from senior Jack Maltby. Park Ridge’s Ray Tomatsu ran the ball to tie up the score, leading up to the second quarter. However, the next two quarters were all Cresskill. In the second quarter, senior Johnny VanCleft ran the ball two yards to score. Garzino scored again in the third quarter, this time on a 25-yard pass, and senior John Connelly scored on an 8-yard pass. In the fourth quarter, Garzino scored a third time from a six-yard pass from Maltby. Park Ridge scored shortly after this, thanks to Joshua Lewis on a two-yard run. Junior Yianni Tolos made four of five extra-point attempts. Cresskill defeated Park Ridge, 33-12.
