What to do Completely Solo on Valentine’s Day
- Watch a movie
Whether it’s in a movie theater or at home, a movie is always the way to go. Watching a movie is a great way to unwind and relax after a long day or week. While there are many other options for what to do on Valentine’s day, there’s always a movie for everyone in case you need a backup plan!
- Bake
Try a new recipe or one that you already love! Baking is fun, relaxing, and you learn new skills. Not only that but once you’re done you get to enjoy a sweet treat and share with the special people in your life. One of my personal favorite recipes is https://www.savvysavingcouple.net/valentine-cookies-recipe/, a great recipe for delicious Valentine’s Day cookies.
- Have a self-care day
Valentine’s day is the perfect day to treat yourself to a massage, makeover, spa day, a good nap, and the list goes on. Whether you want to get it professionally done or do it yourself at home, this is a great way to relax you and make you feel amazing on Valentine’s day. Some suggestions include doing a facemask, doing a bubble bath, painting your nails, and the list goes on!
- Go shopping
If a man won’t splurge on you, do it yourself! Buy yourself something you’ve been wanting for a long time and make yourself happy! And if you don’t want to get out of bed just do online shopping! There’s nothing better than shopping and spending a little money on yourself.
- Go to your favorite restaurant
Why go on a date with another person if even better, you can go on a date with yourself? You are just as important as a relationship and Valentine’s Day should be a day when you can celebrate yourself and self-love! It doesn’t even have to be fancy, just one that you enjoy. So go to your favorite restaurant and buy your favorite meal!
- Make something special for your loved ones
Valentine’s day isn’t only about going on a date or doing anything fancy, but also about showing the special people in your life how much they mean to you. It can be all the way from writing a heartfelt card to gifting them something you know they’ll love forever. The options are endless!
- Learn a new skill
There’s definitely something out there that you’ve really been wanting to try out or learn. Whether you go to a class or search it up online, learning a new skill is a great and fun way to spend your Valentine’s Day.
- Have a game night with yourself
It doesn’t matter if you want to play solo card games or solo minigames, but either way having a little game night for yourself is a great idea. Get comfortable, put some music or a movie in the background, and choose your favorite game to play!
No matter if you’re single or not, you can always still have fun on Valentine’s Day!
