Summer Hairstyles For Different Hair Types
With summer just around the corner, here are different hairstyle ideas for when the weather is unbearably hot.
Straight-Wavy Hair:
Two dutch braids into low buns –
This hairstyle is perfect for keeping your hair out of the way. It can be modified by making the braids french, and instead of buns, you can make them ponytails. You can wear this hairstyle anywhere, as it can be altered in many ways.
Claw Clip –
This one’s simple, comfortable, and gets the job done. On hot summer days, you just want your hair out of the way. Instead of having all your hair in the clip, you can use only half your hair and add some braids for a more complicated look.
Bubble braid –
Bubble braids are perfect as they take a simple hairstyle like ponytails and make them more unique and fun. This hairstyle can also be modified, making smaller bubble braids, making multiple, or using all your hair.
Wavy-Curly Hair:
Four small dutch braids –
This hairstyle is perfect from a beach day to going out to dinner on vacation. It is simple to do if you know how to dutch braids, and takes around 2 minutes for each braid. This hairstyle can also be modified by making the dutch braids french. You can also change the amount of braids in your hair, doing as many or as little as you want.
Half up half down –
This one is my go to, as it is super quick and comfortable. You can choose the amount of hair you want up, and if you want to make it a bun, ponytail, braids, etc. You can also add small braids with the remaining hair to add more to this look.
Slick back bun –
This one is perfect if you don’t want any hair in your face. It’s not only cute but easy to do and super versatile. You can choose the amount of face-framing pieces if you want any at all.
Curly-Coily Hair:
Twist into a bun –
This hairstyle is also perfect if you want your hair away from your face. It can be dressed up with a simple accessory like a scarf, or left alone. It can also be modified by making it into a braid or ponytail, or you can leave it in a bun.
Half up dutch braids –
I love this one as it is simple and efficient. This one can be turned into french braids, and you can do as many or as little braids as you want.
High up braids –
This hairstyle is super cute for going out, from just hanging out with friends to going to the beach. It can be modified by doing multiple braids in the ponytails, and leaving out different amounts of pieces. You can also add different accessories like clips or scarfs.
