Are you nervous about the upcoming AP Exams? Well, the last week is the best time to use your highest concentration and cram for the exam! Here are a few tips that will help you to efficiently cram for the exam.
Solve at least 5 years of FRQ Practices on the College Board Website:
Even though you feel you are not ready enough to solve the Free-Response Questions, you should definitely try them. Those questions are the actual problems that came out on the previous AP exams. As you solve each packet, you will realize what kind of concepts or questions are going to be on the FRQ. Also, this will help you to notice what concepts you are struggling with. Reviewing the provided FRQ answers, You will be used to writing free response answers in a format that the College Board wants from the students. Since the FRQ takes up 30~50% of the AP exam score, preparing for FRQ is important. Print those questions and at least try to memorize the format of the questions and the answers!
Check AP Classroom Daily Videos:
AP Classroom provides Daily videos where high school teachers explain basic concepts of the subject. Moreover, they solve some of the MCQ and FRQ questions from the past exams. If you have a few units in the AP course that you are struggling with, check out the videos to organize the concepts and practice with example questions.
Search on Google for free full-mock tests:
Since the College Board does not provide MCQ question packets from recent exams, it is really hard to get full multiple-choice questions. However, if you scroll down to the abyss of the Google search page, you’ll find at least one. If you cannot, the alternative is solving questions on the quizlet study sets.
Search on YouTube for the final review or summary of your AP Subject:
In these social-media-advanced days, you should be able to use every resource available to you! There are a lot of good teachers on YouTube who will help you review your AP subject and prepare for the exam. It’s still not too late to memorize the concepts in the review/summary videos and practice with example problems!
