Cresskill Tops Ridgefield for Another Great Win

On Friday, October 14, 2016, the Ridgefield Royals played in Cresskill against the Cougars. The Cougars dominated the first half, as the Royals did not score. Junior Evan Milionis ran the ball 25 yards, being the first one to score. Senior Terence McCabe scored shortly afterward on a 10-yard pass from senior Jack Maltby. Sophomore Antonio Lora scored on a two-point conversion from Maltby. To follow this, junior Ben Stein scored twice, with a 73-yard run in the first quarter and with an 18-yard run in the second quarter. Continuing in the second quarter, senior Lou DeCarlo ran the ball 5 yards and 3 yards to score twice. In the third quarter, Ridgefield scored their only points, when Louie Correa scored off of a pass from Joey Correa. Cresskill scored again in this quarter, as Milionis scored on an 86-yard kick-off return. Junior Yianni Tolos made five out of six extra-point attempts in this game. Neither team scored in the fourth quarter and Cresskill topped Ridgefield for another win.
