Sophomore Etamar Weinstein loves the update and how it benefits his experience. He feels that the new features have “refreshed and organized” his phone. Weinstein fell in love with the new changes as soon as the update was downloaded.

The “lock screen makes my phone feel smoother and cleaner, customizing my phone was lots of fun especially when I can make a whole switch in a tap,” with the new update comes a new way of iPhone personalization that was never seen before. When asked about the notifications and music on the lock screen Weinstein had a very different opinion then Sharon, saying, “the lock screen was one of the most important features for me, it’s just easier to swipe up on notifications and access music,” he notes that as a heavy music listener this was really significant for him.
When questioned about the new messages feature he remarks, “I don’t use Whatsapp anymore which is also very popular, the editing and unsending tool made me just make the switch.” In today’s world where we rely on texting, one slip up in a message can be consequential; this update allows users to avoid such instances. Unlike Sharon, Weinstein wasn’t bothered by the decreased battery life, he said, “the battery life isn’t a big deal for me since I’m in school for most of my day. Trading an hour of battery life with all the cool updates is worth it!”
